EAR

EAR is defined as projects that primarily involve the erection and/or installation of machinery and equipment. This class of the business is characterised by introduction of ‘feedstock’ to produce a ‘manufactured’ product, and is defined by the exposure to testing and commissioning of the plant prior to acceptance. Occupancies include energy related occupancies (oil & gas, power generation) as well as all other manufacturing industries including but not limited to water treatment, waste water treatment and desalination, steel and metals, pulp and paper, cement, mineral processing, and hi-tech industries.
